Today's Philia's birthday!!
Planned the day to go out with her. So since my dad's not free to fetch and Phebe has a car now, we asked her to drive us. Went to her house in the morning around 10.30am. Walked straight into her house without waiting for people to open it for me xD
Once I got in Philia asks me if I have had breakfast, I had but she still insist me on trying the cakes in her house. There's soya and blueberry, cheese and banana. The cheese was fantastically awesome! It's so smooth and soft ^^
And then Jobin came over. We sat at the couch and used our phones to look for movies that we want to watch. And Phi told us that her sis has already checked this morning and she acted as her sis and goes like:

The way she tells the story got me and Jo laughing :)
After checking the movies we decided to watch The Three Stooges and Diary of a Wimpy Kid3 at Mid Valley. So we went up cause I want to use the com and Phi went to wake Phebe up. Before she went in she took a pen and started drawing on her fingers. We kept on asking her what's she doing but she just say later you'll know. Okay...guess what it came out to be. It's puppets so that she can wake her sis up. The thumb's the commander and the other fingers are the members I guess. She acted like the commander said : stand straight! (the other fingers go straight) Now sing for the pretty lady. They sang Mary had a Little Lamb!! The way Phi does it got me and Jo laughing so hard. And then Phebe came out and said Hi. I teased her and say: you're finally up!
She replies: ya...
Me: (giggling) by Phi's Mary had a Little Lamb! xD
Lol...haha...so after talking for a while we finally got into the car. On the road we talked and the journey was nice. Initially we wanted to only go to Jusco, but the cinema there isn't showing the movies we want. And since Phebe's driving, she says we can go anywhere we want. So..we went to Mid Valley!
After about 30 minutes on the road, we reached. The mall was filled with people and there's no free spaces to park. Phebe asks us to go up first to get the tickets for the movie and also find a restaurant for lunch. So we went into the mall and started to look for the cinema. Jo's quite familiar with it so we let her bring us through. When we reach the ticket counter it has a very very long queue >< so anyway we lined up and talked while we wait. When it's finally our turn the tickets for The Three Stooges is almost sold out. There's no place left for us to sit together. So we decided to not watch that movie and just go with Diary. We bought our ticket and started to find a place to have lunch.
We went to Floor LG cause Phi says there's a row of restaurants there. We went and looked around then we came upon a directory board. We studied it and looked for restaurants. Phi ask us what we want to have for lunch, and since me and Jo don't want to take the trouble of choosing, we said that the birthday girl should choose :p At last we decided to go to a restaurant name The Library. You would have thought The Library would be a place where it's a restaurant but yet there's books around for you to read. Well, think again. It took us a long time to find that restaurant. We asked 2 ppl and referred the directory board twice. But eventually we found it. And the place is actually a pub. Disappointing ><
Before I go on, I have to change the scene for a while. When we're on our way finding the restaurant, Phi texted her sis and asked if she's up for lunch. Her reply was: no. Had a car accident. You guys enjoy :).
Omg...that got us all freaking out. Phi texted back to say where we're heading and ask how she is and if the accident was really bad. But she totally ignored that question and just ask us to enjoy ourself. Since its Phi's birthday we don't want to push it and just go with it. But the truth is, deep inside I'm worried. Phebe's new to driving, if I was alone I would have went down to check it out, but Phi and Jo didn't have that intention so I'm not just going to leave like that, plus I'm not sure if Phebe wants my company.
So anyway, we found the restaurant and since it's suppose to be a pub at night it's really dark. We chose a table near the door so that it's brighter. There's set lunch offer and since the meals are really big, we decided to call 2 and share among us. We ordered 2 mushroom soup and spaghetti carbonara and fish and chip. While waiting Jo and Phi took pictures non-stop. And we talked and chat. When the food came thy took pics again and we finally eat. The mushroom soup was nice :) than the spaghetti and fish and chip came. Pictures pictures...and than we tucked in. Oh my gosh...it's seriously the best spaghetti carbonara you can get in restaurants!! I forgot how it happened but the next minute Jo's asking the waiter if there's candles. They did have!! So Jo stops us from eating and put the candle in the spaghetti. There's a lighter but Jo claims that she doesn't know how to use it so she passed it to me. Phi was embarrassed and since it's windy she kept on saying its not possible to light. But I still light the lighter anyway. I brought it near the candle, the first time it didn't light but the second time it did! More photos...than Phi made a wish and blew out the candle. Haha...it was fun ^^ after that we're busy taking out melted wax from the spaghetti. And all this time the people at the next table was looking at us :p
After lunch we went to MPH since Jo wanted to buy books. We went and each of us got ourself a book. On the way out we pass by Planet Popcorn and Phi wanted to buy some. She can't decide on the flavour she wants so we tried some. There's choco, sunny cheese, seaweed.. Jo bought a bag of chesse while Phi still can't decide. After a few minutes of thinking and consideration, she bought choco xD
Than it's almost time for us to go to the cinema. At this point Phi texted her sis to tell her that we're on our way to the movies. She texted back saying she hasn't gone up yet since she reach. She's with the mechanic now. We're shock but can't do anything to help. Phebe didn't want us to worry and just wants her sis to enjoy her day.
Before we go into the cinema, we bought Chatime and sneaked it in. Haha..good thing we bought a few stuff that we have plastic bags to hide it in. ^^
While we're in the cinema Phi texted her sis again and she's finally done with the car accident and is on her way finding Starbucks to study. What a relief..
The movie was great and was really funny. After that Phi says she want to go to Pet's Wonderland. She says she has to go there every time she goes to Mid Valley. So we went. On the way there just before the steps to go up to the shop, there's a Barbie shop and Jo was like can I go in?? Me and Phi say ya sure. But we're not going in with you. Jo ran in happily like a little girl. Me and Phi are not fans of Barbie so we just waited outside. When Jo came out a few minutes later she was glowing all over and kept on saying how wonderful Barbie dolls are. She goes like Barbie doll is the best thing any girl can ever have~ omg...me and Phi can't stand her craziness. Phi hooked her arm to mine and pulled me up the stairs to Pet's Wonderland. All the while we're both laughing and Jo keeps on talking about Barbies behind us. XD
Finally we're in the pet shop and Phi texted her sis to tell her where we are. She replied with : again? -.- okay, coming over :)
We looked at cats, birds, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs and insects. Than we keep on looking around the store at pet assesories while waiting for Phebe to come. Philia just can't take her eyes of the bird Budgie. She's been wanting one since primary school. Than Phebe came and say to Phi that a friend wants to buy her a present and asked her to buy one for Phi first. So than Phebe asks what she wants. Phi replies with birds...
Phebe: anything else but bird?
Phi: (thought for a while, shakes her head)
Phebe: than what do you want?
Phi: bird..
Phebe: urgh...anything but bird?
Phi: urgh...it's hard to think with all these around me..
Phebe: okay, let me help you. Do you need a bag?
Phi: no...
Phebe: clothes?
Phi: no...
Phebe: shoes?
Phi: no...
Phebe: books?
Phi: bought already...
Phebe: (looks fed up) than what do you want?
Phi: a bird...
Phebe: ... I can buy you a bird, but you have to get mom's permission first.
Phi's so happy to hear that she immediately texted her mom to ask. Her mom replied with: if you promise to look after it. Phi's so happy she jumped! So then she went to choose a bird and really bought one home.
Then it's time for us to go home. Phi can't stop talking about birds all the way home.
Since there's a little traffic on the roads i asked Phebe about the accident just now. So she told us the whole story.
After she drop us off she went looking for a free space to park. Ah keeps on rounding the parking lot but couldn't find one. When she was just about to turn into another row, she saw that the one in front of the row she was going to turn into has a car pulling out. So she wants to reverse and go there. She looked at the rear view mirror and started to reverse. The sensor did not give out sound and she didn't see any cars behind. Than suddenly "bang!" omg....
Both the car pulled aside. Phebe got down from the car and her first instinct was to see what brand's car she hit. It's a Nissan, okay, that's a small relief. Than the driver from the car she hit came down too. Is a man and he's call Mr Yee. He keeps on shaking his head upon seeing Phebe and took out he's phone to cancel appointments. He's a sales person you see, he's there to work. Phebe just kept on saying sorry sorry... After talking on his phone Mr Yee ask her : so now how? How long have you been driving?
Phebe replied : a few months...
Mr Yee just keeps on shaking his head. " now we can either call the police of solve it personally. But since you're a new driver, reporting to the police may get your license back or something." he looks not so sure of himself upon saying these, looks like its his first accident too.
Than he ask : do you know any mechanics here? I'm from Melaka and I'm her on company sales run, I need my car.
" my parents both drive a Volvo so I only know Volvo's mechanic." Phebe says
Mr Yee just can't stop shaking his head. " have you contacted your parents? Can they come over?"
" my mom is a doctor and she works in a hospital. My dad is in Muar, he's out station."
" just try contacting them. Ask them if they know any mechanics. I need my car everyday, and it's new, I only got it on February, only 6 months!"
Phebe took out her phone and dialed her mom number. She was thinking to herself inside : it's only a little scratch, it's not like you can't drive in it any more....
When her mom picked up she told her the whole story and that's when she break down, letting all the emotion and tears run free. She hasn't cry since the accident but I guess mom's voice always have that softness to it that you just want to cry upon hearing it.
Her mom did not scold her but simply called her to call dad and ask if he knows any mechanics.
So she called her dad and he gave her a number to a mechanic call Mr Fatt. His dad contacted the mechanic and asked him to go over to check out the cars.
Two of Mr Yee's working partner came down while Phebe was on the phone. So Phebe told him about what her dad said and Mr Yee decided that they'll go separately for lunch first than only meet back when the mechanic arrives. So they exchanged name, ic number, phone numbers, car plate number, address...
Then Mr Yee went to park his car and Phebe went to find a space too. She looked for about 10 minutes and couldn't find a space so she just go back to where she parked aside just now. She didn't feel like going up and just sat in the car alone. After a while a lady near by drove away and Phbe parked in. She's depressed and sad and just a mixture of emotions. She don't what to do and her phone's running out of credits. Just than a friend texted her and she ask her to help get some phone credits for her. She asked for RM10 but the friend got her RM30 anyway. What a good friend :)
Than Phebe texted with her and called a few friends. She slowly calmed down.
Then the mechanic came and Mr Yee called Phebe and they met up. The mechanic looked at Mr Yee's car and everything sort out. Thank God everything came out fine and Mr Yee was quite a nice man Phebe says :)
